? This is because, according to the "Biocidal Products Regulation" published in the Official Gazette dated 27.01.2005 and numbered 25709, these statements can only be used for products that have received a biocidal license from the Ministry of Health.
? WHY CAN ESSENTIAL OILS BE DANGEROUS?
? They pose allergy and respiratory risks in babies and young children.
Essential oils, especially tea tree, lavender, cedar, and clove, can cause reactions such as allergic dermatitis, redness, itching, and shortness of breath.
Because baby skin is very permeable, these oils are rapidly absorbed into the skin and can cause toxic effects.
❗ The use of essential oils in children under 2 years old is strongly not recommended.
? Research shows that most essential oil-based sprays have not undergone clinical testing, do not have UTS (Product Tracking System) registration, and their effectiveness has not been scientifically proven.
✅ HOW TO ACHIEVE REAL PROTECTION?
For a product to be defined as a repellent for flies, ticks, lice, and insects:
✔ It must have a BIOCIDAL LICENSE from the Ministry of Health.
✔ Its effectiveness and safety must be proven with clinical tests.
