Our Fair Experience and Trends in Children's Fashion

Hello Miela Kids Lovers :)

This year, we, as Miela Kids, took part in the 41st CMBE Turkey Mother & Baby Fair, one of the most important fairs in the sector. Bringing together nearly 650 fashion brands and designers with local and foreign visitors, this fair was an event full of unforgettable memories for us.

New Markets and Business Development Opportunities

We held many important meetings and interviews during the 4-day fair. It was very productive for us to receive pre-orders for our new collections, meet our potential customers, create business development opportunities and expand our network. We took important steps in terms of exporting to brand new markets.

Our Sales Points and Meeting with Other Turkish Brands

One of the most enjoyable moments for us was undoubtedly meeting with concept store owners and potential sales points who supported us on this path and enabled us to bring the Miela Kids products we have painstakingly produced to more users.

We shared our excitement about the new collection with them and receiving positive feedback from them made us very happy. It was also very inspiring to meet again Turkish brands that we know from previous events, have a sustainable production approach and are at the forefront of design, meet new ones and chat with them.

Meeting creative minds and listening to the stories behind the designs at events like these helps us reinforce our belief in design and always increases our motivation. Seeing that these brands focus not only on the clothing sector but also on social responsibility projects and sustainable practices really impressed us and we exchanged ideas for new collaborations.

The Future of Children's Fashion, Trends and Sustainability

The fair also featured the fashion and trend presentation of the WSGN platform, which we also use to get inspiration for trends and colors. We gathered plenty of inspiration for our new seasons in the presentation, where sustainable and recycling issues were inevitably on the agenda. Seeing that the sustainable fashion approach, which we have been advocating since the beginning as a brand, will inevitably come to the forefront even more in the future due to scarcity of resources, allowed us to accelerate our work on this subject.

The fact that functional, modular and transformable clothing will come to the fore in the future has inspired us to develop new ideas in product designs. With the climate crisis, we will see more layered clothing. In order to adapt to all conditions, non-sweating, seasonless and unisex pieces made of natural fabrics will become more prominent. For this reason, as always, we will continue to give importance to fabric quality and the softness of our fabrics that touch our little ones' skin.

Another striking detail in the presentation was the influence of individuals born between the mid-2010s and early 2020s, called Alfa, on the world of fashion. This generation, whose story we share as a brand, definitely brings a unique and dynamic perspective to fashion. Born into a digital world, these children are introduced to brand awareness at a very young age and discover their own style at a very early age. They have become masters of integrating classic styles with innovative details by taking their parents as role models. These hyper children, who already have a significant impact on families' purchasing behavior, can be more selective about recyclable materials, fair trade practices and ethical production processes.

It seems that these issues will be prominent among the elements that shape Generation Alpha's fashion in the future. As the Miela Kids team, we will continue to focus on responsible production and environmentally friendly practices, even though it increases our costs a lot. We believe that as the Miela Kids family, we will continue to grow with your support and be a part of many more stories.

Stay tuned, Much love
